Please join by video or by phone and please set your device to mute until the court requests entry of your appearance in your case.
For video access, click the following link or utilize https://meet.google.com/htm-gstf-qxa. If video access is not available on your device then you may join by phone.
To join by phone, dial 1-605-937-6997, and enter PIN: 613 024 822#.
The Hearing Officer operates with a trailing docket, so it is possible that your hearing could commence at a time later than the listed time.

Dear Counsel and Parties to a Case,
New Mexico Supreme Court Chief Justice Judith Nakamura and Chief Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer have issued new directives for all state courts requiring actions to minimize public health risks. The judiciary is actively and closely monitoring the Coronavirus situation, and new procedures may be implemented on a daily basis. We need your help in preserving court time and resources for matters that affect immediate safety.
Effective immediately, for the Family Law and Child Support courtrooms, we have implemented the following:
- Attorneys and all parties are to make a good faith effort to settle all issues as soon as possible and at minimum 2-3 days prior to every hearing. This means you must call or email opposing counsel or party to discuss the issues. We encourage you to reach an agreement on the issues and, in the event you cannot, you are to reach a temporary agreement to put in place until the public health crisis is over.
Sample Temporary Agreement - ALL FAMILY LAW, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND CHILD SUPPORT CASES WILL BE HELD BY TELEPHONE.If you are unable to reach an agreement between yourselves, the judges will Issue decisions without a hearing whenever possible. The judge will decide whether to issue a decision or schedule a hearing. If a hearing is scheduled, everyone will appear by telephone. No one is permitted in the courtrooms until the Public Health Emergency is over.At least 24 hours prior to every hearing, parties and attorneys must submit an email to the judge containing the telephone number and email address for every attorney and every party on your case. We need this information so that we can call you from the courtroom for your hearing. Send your email address and phone number to your assigned judge’s proposed text email:○ Judge Sylvia LaMar: sfeddiv4proposedtxt@nmcourts.gov
○ Judge Shannon Broderick Bulman: sfeddiv3proposedtxt@nmcourts.gov
○ Child Support Hearing Officer Carl Will: sfedcshoproposedtxt@nmcourts.govIf you intend to offer exhibits, the exhibits must be submitted to the judge at least 24 hours prior to the hearing, using the judge’s proposed text e-mail, listed above. If you do not have access to email you must contact your judge’s office by telephone at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. Provide your name, your case number, and the telephone number where we can call you from the courtroom.○ Judge Sylvia LaMar: 505-455-8150
○ Judge Shannon Broderick Bulman: 505-455-8165
○ Child Support Hearing Officer Carl Will: 505-455-8140 - Domestic Violence Bench Warrants. If a Bench Warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Respondent in a DV case, they are encouraged to come to the courthouse as soon as possible to accept service of the Default Order of Protection so that we may immediately quash the Bench Warrant.
- Information Sessions at the Community College and at the courthouse are suspended.
- Family Court Services. All parents participating in Mediation, Priority Consultation, and Advisory Consultation with Family Court Services will appear by telephone and not in person.
- Transport from the detention centers for Family Court and domestic violence hearings has been suspended.
- The situation at the courthouse is fluid and changes may be implemented with very little notice. We will send out regular updates. Please monitor the court’s website for updated courtroom procedures and guidelines.
Thank you,
Sylvia LaMar & Shannon Broderick Bulman
